About Nuweland

We are Anke and Wiebren Bergsma, a young couple from the Netherlands. After living, working, and starting a family in Cape Town, South Africa, we realised something: South African design is unlike anything the stereotypes would have you believe. It has a unique flair, and is rich in style and craftsmanship. We fell in love with the exceptional side of South African design, so we decided to bring it home.
